If we talk about prestigious universities of Pakistan we will surely find the name of National University of Science and Technology in it. Every student’s dream is to take admission is here but it’s not easy to get in .After getting good grades the next step is NET which is conducted by NUST to get admission.

NUST takes multiple test in a year to give a chance to students to improve their marks before the admission dates get closed. NET is valid for one academic year. After one year you have to give NET again for admission.

As far as NET syllabus is concerned, it’s all from FSc Books . No need to study from other books available in market for NET  just go through your books thoroughly to learn the concepts.

The exam consists of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English. Along with these subjects, there is also a portion of intelligence to assess the shrewdness of the students.

NET consists of 200 MCQs each of which bears one mark. There are 80 MCQs from the Mathematics section, 60 MCQs from Physics, 30 MCQs from Chemistry, 20 MCQs from the English portion and 10 MCQs from the Intelligence Exam.


Students with any academic background may become part of the NUST group after successful completion of the exam, as the university assists international and local students to take advantage of scholarships, has flexible fee contracts, and installment programmes to pursue their learning journey. The annual tuition structure of the undergraduate programme ranges from Rs.90,000 to Rs.105,000 per semester, while the postgraduate programme costs between Rs.65,000 and Rs.85,000 per semester.

NUST encourages successful and well-deserved students by providing a number of foreign scholarships, including Need-based Scholarships, KPK Talented Student Scholarships under the Chief Minister’s Education Endowment Fund (CMEEF), the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) and the UKAID Department for International Development (DFID) and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) scholarship.
